Professional Development
Individuals may participate in professional development because of an interest in lifelong learning, a sense of moral obligation, to maintain and improve professional competence, enhance career progression, keep abreast of new technology and practice, or to comply with professional regulatory organizations.
Stress in the Workplace
Workplace stress can be the harmful physical and emotional responses that can happen when there is a conflict between job demands on the employee and the amount of control an employee has over meeting these demands. In general, the combination of high demands in a job and a low amount of control over the situation can lead to stress.
Performance Coaching
Coaching often provides positive feedback about employee contributions. At the same time, regular coaching brings performance issues to an employee’s attention when they are only small, and assists the employee to correct them before they become a habit.
The goal of performance coaching is not to make the employee feel badly. The goal of coaching is to work with the employee to solve performance problems and improve the work of the employee.
